I Dream of a Classroom Where Everyone Can Excel!

My students need 9 iPads because they are powerful creative devices that inspire interactive learning. Also, my students need 9 iPad covers to protect their devices.

My Students

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."- Benjamin Franklin. Students need to be involved with their learning throughout the school day. One way to fully immerse students in their learning is through iPads.

I have a classroom of seven and eight year old students with varying abilities and learning styles.

My students are visual learners who need hands-on learning. My students attend a small school in a rural community. I have students with varying abilities and learning styles. Differentiation happens in our classroom every minute of the day. Our school has two teachers per grade level, and the grade levels we have are pre-kindergarten to sixth grade.

My Project

Technology is an amazing tool for today’s teachers and students. Today’s students are technologically savvy, which makes them comfortable using touch screens and other interactive learning planks. With that being said, iPads are second nature to my students. The students will use the 6 Mini iPads and 3 iPad Pros for interactive e-books, creation, and interactive learning for math, reading, language, speaking, social studies, and science. Additionally, the students will use the 9 covers to protect the iPads.

My students will have endless learning opportunities with over 80,000 apps right at their fingertips.

Additionally, the 9 iPads have the capability to be customized for each particular student's level of learning and learning style. With the help of the iPads, students again have the ability to show their work and presentations in amazing new ways. Special needs students are able to effortlessly write, read, and work on math facts that are more difficult to do with pencil and paper.
