My Project

My students are wonderfully mine! They are bright, quirky, silly, shy, confident, and reserved young people viewing the world through innocent eyes. It is my job as their teacher to provide them with more resources to reduce the risk factors that they have. My students are young and still marvel are the complexities of the world we live in. I want to expand their curiosity and knowledge through interactive play in the classroom.

Working in a Title I school is a unique experience.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term, a Title I school means it has a certain percentage of students who are at-risk, often living at or below the poverty line. At-risk students are those “considered to be in danger of not graduating, being promoted, or meeting other education-related goals.” I want to grow my students' love of learning. I want them to be able to create things using the hands-on approach.
