Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive, and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of 10 students with special needs and 15 students of mixed English language learners and general education students. This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom.

I do my very best to make each child feel special and assure them they can do it.

My school has a huge population of low socioeconomic students, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potential.

My Project

No one could have foreseen what teaching and learning currently looks like. However, no that we are in it, we are seeing what it is doing to our little ones. We need to help them smile again. We need to help give them an outlet to unburden the heaviness on their hearts. What better way to do that than through music.

We need your help to remind our little ones that humans ALL OVER THE WORLD think they are worth it.

Having Karaoke Machines will open up a whole new world of excitement and self-expression. We can sing to make us feel happy. We perform to release our sadness. We can join our friends in happy times whether in person or through a screen.

Music can take our minds away from our worries. It can lift us up in our moments of despair. Music can remind us of memories, while looking forward to a better future.

We would LOVE your help in giving our little ones a ton of joy in the middle of a world of grief.
