My Students

Do you remember not being able to see over the student's head in front of you?

My students are from a very rural high poverty community.

They parents have a very low socioeconomic status. They are great kids and they deserve only the best. I want them to have an inviting classroom with great supplies where learning can take place.

My Project

My students need this easel because I do not have a place where I can sit our big books that go along with our reading series. The big books are very difficult to hold and read to the students. They love stories that are read aloud and this would give them the ability to be able to see and listen without struggling to see.

This project is important because these are great kids that deserve the best.

I want this classroom to be a comfortable place where learning comes easily. I want my students to have a nice area where they can relax all day and feel happy and safe because that may not always happen at home.
