My Project

My school just started after-school tutoring for students performing below grade level to close the learning gap. This is my first year tutoring. I am teaching fourth-grade math students. My students are a unique group of promising learners.

I want to provide afternoon snacks during tutoring so my students can make the most of this learning opportunity.

My students eat lunch at 11:30 am. Sometimes they do not even eat lunch if it is not something they like. By 3:45 pm, they are starving and the only thing that they can focus on is food. By providing an afternoon snack, I want to refuel my students so they can focus and learn.
