Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the future! For most of them this year is their first time going to school and just when we were halfway through the year and comfortable going to school, the school buildings closed statewide.

They are struggling with their new normal.

We are all trying to make sense of this new normal.

My Project

These backpacks will ensure that all of my students have access to the same materials as if we were in our classroom. The counting bears will be used for counting as well as sorting. The alphabet cards will help with letter recognition, letter sounds, and letter formation. The calendar included will help parents understand how to use the materials included in the backpack. The slot and shape builders will help with shapes recognition and also encourage them to use their imagination to build things. Lastly everyone will have the same materials!
