Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Treasure Chest Toys that I am requesting are to motivate my students on a daily basis to be able to get a toy or 2 every Friday.

I have a Behavior Chart with 4 colors: green, yellow, orange and red to reinforce Positive Behavior.

My students get 3 chances before a color is changed. I talk to them since day 1 in school and explain to them that anyone who gets an orange or red color will not be able to get a prize from the Treasure Chest on Friday's.

I have used this technique for many years and the students are so smart because they get very excited to go up to the Treasure Chest to get their prize.
