My Students

Kindergarten students are energetic and spunky little learners! They want to be involved and are curious little people. We see different levels of students as they enter kindergarten.

I have never met a 5-6-year-old who didn't want to tell you and/or show you everything that they know about and love.

Some have experienced daycare, pre-school, or have been at home with a parent prior to attending kindergarten. We love meeting our students where their needs are!

My Project

Each year in kindergarten, I like to give each child in the class a chance to celebrate themselves and to feel a little extra special. Due to Covid stipulations, I will not be allowed to send home the usual backpack, stuffed animal, and game items that I typically send.

I would love to continue my classroom, All About Me, tradition by sending each child home with their own cinch sack, frog stuffy, and a few games during their special week.

I will ask each family to take or draw pictures of themselves with our frog mascot (their frog stuffy) and game-time with their families. I will allow them to tell all about their adventures during class time. This is always a well-appreciated project by all. I have picture books from previous years and enjoy reminiscing through them.
