My Students

I am here for my students no matter the distance. I have a group of inspiring fifth graders. Some are in the classroom on a daily basis, while others are with us remotely via Google Meet. My students are overcoming challenges on a daily basis, whether it is due to remote learning and the pandemic, or their individual struggles. Their thirst for knowledge, perseverance in overcoming challenges and finding strength in all obstacles they face, make them my heroes.

They are truly amazing and put a smile on my face each and everyday.

They are making the best of all the chaos going on in this world.

My students inspire me to make the best of every situation.

We smile, we laugh, we learn, and we grow in class 308.

Please help me in helping them achieve their highest potential and opening up a whole new world to them.

My Project

I am a teacher of a fifth grade 12:1 special education classroom at P.S. 29.

Due to the shortage of staff in the NYC DOE, I am teaching each day in person and remotely.

I do not want to hinder student learning anymore than this pandemic has.

I have a number of students sitting in the classroom each day, while the rest watch and learn all day via Google Meet.

It is very difficult, but we are learning!

The students are working very hard and this project will help immensely going forward with blended learning.
