it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a middle school counselor in the Bronx, and I want to create discreet menstrual/hygiene bags for my female students. Many of my students are getting their period for the first time, and they're going through many hormonal changes. My school only has access to pads, but they are not discreet; they are out in the open in my office. Additionally, I share an office with male colleagues, so many female students are hesitant to come into the office and grab some pads.
I want to create discreet feminine product bags for my middle school girls.
The bags will included pads, lip-gloss, combs, wipes, etc. These are all the necessities that will help my students feel comfortable and good about themselves.
