Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have always wanted to create a safe space for students to come if they are in need of things. Every year I have students who are in shelters, taking care of their younger siblings because it is a single parent household. I want to give them the ability to discreetly get the supplies that they need to feel confident and secure. We have students who come to school asking for extra food at lunch because they need to take it home so they have something to eat for dinner.

Being able to give snacks and hygiene products will allow those students to get what they need in a safe space.

I am also asking for a few basic cleaning supplies for the classroom itself like, Clorox spray and paper towels. Thank you in advance for all of your help!
