My Project

My preschool classroom is a hub of learning, creativity, and growth. However, with young learners, hygiene needs are a constant part of the day. Many of my students are still mastering toileting, and we want to ensure that every child feels clean, comfortable, and cared for while at school. Our preschoolers are full of energy and curiosity, coming from diverse backgrounds with unique needs. For many, our classroom is a safe space where they explore and learn foundational skills, and we want to create an environment where hygiene challenges never hinder their ability to focus on fun and learning.

We are seeking support to stock our classroom with essential hygiene supplies, including bags for pull-up disposal, bags for sending home clothing, wipes, gloves and Kleenex.

In addition, we aim to create picture charts that visually guide our toileting routines, hand washing routines and other hygiene routines. These charts will support students in understanding each step of the process, promoting independence, confidence, and consistency in hygiene habits.

These supplies and tools are critical to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our students. By providing these items, you are helping to create a space where students feel secure and cared for. Hygiene is a basic need, and meeting it ensures our children can focus on building skills, forming friendships, and enjoying their preschool experience. For families, it shows that we are partners in their child’s care and well-being. With your support, we can address these daily needs with ease and provide a seamless learning experience for every child. No child should feel discomfort or embarrassment over hygiene, and these supplies will help ensure that everyone in our classroom is set up for success.
