This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a wide range of abilities and capabilities within my classroom. This classroom setting is a self-contained room. This means that most of my students come to me because they are behind grade level curriculum and have learning disabilities that impede their learning in a regular setting.
My classroom has a creative and fun atmosphere that supports each and every child's needs and abilities.
They are allowed to be themselves and discover what and how they learn best despite our challenges and hindrances.
My Project
Most of my students are from a low socioeconomic community and do not always have access to the proper hygiene supplies or tools. Given then current social and health scares with the Pandemic. I want to give them the knowledge and skill to care for themselves.
Every day each students will begin with the hygiene routine and continue to check throughout the day after activities and recesses.
These products will allow the students to learn the correct process for proper hygiene and the importance for following the steps every day.
