Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

So, it's that time of the month. It's a necessary item for young girls. The hard part is when they don't have resources that give them what they need. Our Hygiene Help project is all about giving our female students their privacy while helping them stay fresh. It's hard enough to deal with limited resources, it's even harder when those limitations leave you feeling less than fresh which ultimately impacts your self-esteem. We know that having this product including the wipes will empower our girls to feel good regardless of their monthly visitors and know we have supplies to make sure they are covered! Students attend a wellness workshop and complete a survey in conjunction to receiving the items.
