Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During our neuroscience lab activities, such as sheep's brain dissections and studying nutrition, my students are constantly handling various materials. To ensure a hygienic environment, they frequently use wipes, hand sanitizers, and disinfecting wipes to clean their desks and hands. I want to create a space where students feel comfortable and protected while engaging in these activities. With a large class, germs can quickly spread, so it’s crucial that my students understand the importance of hygiene and how it directly impacts their health and well-being. By fostering good hygiene habits, I hope to help them stay healthy and focused throughout the lab sessions.
