This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are in the infancy stage of adding a Hydroponic Educational-System to our discipline. The students are 9th-12th graders who are young and eager to learn, yet teachers and students were denied the investigative process required in a lab due to a lack of resources.

Members of our BHS science department request the tools necessary to investigate and analyze the effects of pH and Electrical Conductivity on various systems such as Vine Crop Systems (VCS), Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), and Tower Gardens, on growing plants in hydroponic classroom/lab.

My students were denied lab investigations because we did not have enough trays to germinate plants.
