My Project

At CHF High School, our girls’ basketball team is a group of dedicated, hardworking, and inspiring young women who represent resilience, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the court. Balancing academics, athletics, and community service, these student-athletes constantly strive to improve themselves and support one another. Our school is a proud MD State Green School, the school does not provide water bottles but has refillable water stations throughout the building including the gym to be more environmentally friendly.

We are requesting Gatorade bottles to ensure that our athletes stay hydrated during practices and games.

Proper hydration is crucial for their performance, focus, and overall health. By providing them with reusable bottles, we’re not only promoting sustainability but also fostering responsibility and preparedness as they manage their equipment and health needs.

Having access to Gatorade bottles will allow our athletes to stay hydrated efficiently during intense workouts and competitions, reducing fatigue and improving recovery. These bottles will also encourage good hydration habits that benefit their physical and cognitive performance, supporting them both on the court and in the classroom.

Our primary goal is to provide our athletes with the tools they need to succeed. We also aim to enhance their performance and endurance during practices and games, foster healthy habits that support their well-being, instill a sense of pride and professionalism by equipping them with high-quality gear.

Basketball teaches valuable life skills like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Proper hydration directly impacts their ability to stay focused and energized, allowing them to fully engage in these learning opportunities. Additionally, by promoting physical health, we’re supporting their ability to thrive in academics and athletics alike.
