Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

About My Students

The students submitting this project are members of the football team. There are many names that are a part of this football program but their one common goal is to win. The MSHS Football program has come a long way with many different success stories. These students are creating this project because they want to better their football program and make it one of the best. The football players want to keep hydrated during practice and football games so they do not have to obtain any of the ailments that come with dehydration.

The use of the Cramer Hydration Powerflo is an essential tool for every day practice as well as games because our football team goes through water very quickly. With your donation we will be able to have this hydration tool that is up to date with the current pro teams as well as collegiate. As a team we do not want to be dehydrated because that impairs our ability as a team to succeed and win games. Hydration also helps with school work and helps the brain continue working and solve situations. If our brain is not working in school then we cannot practice or play.

In Their Own Words

Our goal as student-athletes that are a part of the football team is to become more hydrated throughout practice and games. We want to be one of the top teams that have the essential tools we need to become the best and we also want to be an example to other schools on how hydration is important.

We want to be leaders in our community by showing the younger athletes in the Pop-Warner division why hydration is a big deal and why the need it. The younger kids in our community look up to us and want to be like us so we have to create that by showing them the effects of not hydrating and hydrating.

This project is important to our school and football program because it allows us to be more efficient in our practice. The challenge that will be solved is that we won't have to use broken coolers to drink our water from and we won't have to worry about carrying multiple water coolers.
