My Students

Many students become more interested when they are able to be involved in hands-on learning activities.

A few of my students will remember the things that I teach them after repeating it a few times. However, all of my students are able to learn when they are given the opportunity to explore through hands-on learning. I am always looking for ways to engage my students and introduce them to today's technology.

Many of the students in my classroom come from low-income households. Like most kids, they just want to feel welcomed and loved. Many of the students in my classroom are hands-on learners. They learn best when they are able to be a part of the process. They are more likely to remember what they are learning because they are able to see it happening. By incorporating fun technology, it is helping them learn now as well as preparing them for what the future holds.

My Project

With the current circumstances of Covid-19, I want to keep my students safe from spreading germs to one another. Students are going to be thirsty throughout the day, but they can't use the traditional water fountains safely without spreading germs.

It's important that students stay hydrated throughout the day and these water bottles will help them do so safely.

Our school has added water bottle filler stations to help eliminate the sharing of germs. This is a really awesome advantage, but several students will not be able to bring their own water bottle. I want to help make sure my students can stay hydrated by providing them with their own water bottle to keep in the classroom. Having their own water bottle will help them stay hydrated and ready to learn while still helping cut back on sharing germs.
