This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a low income community and are at a school where over the 70 % of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. We always make sure that they are taken care of in our class and school.

My Project

Our students come to school early and leave late. Most days students are in my class working on projects, club matters or just waiting for their parents to pick them up or waiting for the city bus to arrive. As a teacher I try to have snacks for my students but snacks add up and It would really help to have this project funded. We are getting ready for contest where students need to stay after school to work on projects. Funding this project would really help our kids snack with a smile!
