My Students

My students thrive with the integration of technology. They show growth and critical thinking skills in their Mathematics work. I love how integrating technology lights up their eyes and they are ready to explore new ways of solving and working collaboratively.

Technology integration allows them to explore the world.

My students come from low-income areas, and technology is only at the reach of their phones. They work hard in their content classes and strive to excel beyond their circumstances. They all have common goals to excel and to be college and career ready.

My Project

My students create, design, and complete assignments through project-based learning. This year we have created a technology station. In this station, my students create and design, 3D models, they complete assignments, and they produce mathematical products in this station.

Promoting a 21st-century classroom is our goal in our mathematics classroom.

In order to be prepared for this vastly growing technological society, my students use project-based learning in order to create and model the standards they learn in math. By having the Microsoft Surface Pro, my students can work collaboratively to produce products with those standards. They currently have 2 tablets and a printer in order to work in this station. Having the additional tablet will allow my students to continue to produce with coding, blueprint creating, and 3D printing in their project-based learning.
