Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are dedicated and focused. Their goals are to become global graduates; however, they have so many obstacles in their way to achieve academic success. Their socioeconomic disadvantage hinders them from competing with others. They are limited on life experiences outside of their neighborhood. In addition, many of my students lost their homes and items, due to Hurricane Harvey, but, they are still excited about learning. They are so hard working and dedicated to being successful. I have students that have lived in the United States all of their lives, and others who have recently migrated to this country.

My Project

This is a project that needs to incorporate the technology piece in both Math and Science. I am asking for seven I-PADS; with them, I will be able to bring Math and Science to life. I will be able to create technology centers or stations that promote students’ learning. Exploring with technology and access to quick information is highly needed; in order, to keep up with today’s global world. This will allow my students to compete in today’s global work force and society.

Students learn not just from the teacher or books; they also learn from technology.

Technology is an extremely important tool that gives students power on every level. Everything around them has technology.
