Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a Title I School; we are located in a low income neighborhood. They are eager to learn but lack the necessary supplies. School starts in August, and parents struggle to purchase supplies or even uniforms.

Hurricane Harvey left us devastated now we are in the road to recovery.

They come to school with hopes and dreams. I want to enhance their dreams by increasing their knowledge. Fifth grade is a crossroads for my students as they are on their way to middle school. My students enjoy working on workstations.

My Project

Hurricane Harvey left us wondering how do we move forward. We move forward by having to rebuild and setting up a new environments. We are in the process in getting new classrooms for the upcoming school year 2018-2019. This project will help me by getting must needed furniture. We are requesting two cubby to be used as storage for our daily folders and composition books. We are in need of dry erase boards much like the write and wipe boards ours were damage with the humidity. The plastic drawers are going to be used to keep our materials. Trying to create a successful and healthy environment to learn.
