it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special education seventh and eighth-grade students who are smart, funny, and eager to learn. Regrettably, they don't always have the means or access to breakfast. Sometimes they just get hungry before lunch because they are growing so quickly. By having snacks in my classroom my students will be able to eat and concentrate on the lessons being taught.
Everyone knows how much growing teens can eat!
When my students are hungry, they find it difficult to focus on the lesson. They don't tend to participate in discussions or complete classwork. By having snacks in my room, I can enable them to eat a little something to hold them over until lunch or the end of school. Snacks will enable them to complete assignments and try their best. My students need a snack box to help them concentrate until the end of the day.
Some students struggle to get to school on time and miss breakfast. Other students don't have adequate supplies (food) at home. No matter what the issue, no student should be hungry in school!
