Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our project aims to provide healthy morning snacks for our second-grade students, ensuring they start their day with the nutrition they need to stay focused and energized.
With your support, we will supply nutritious snacks such as fruit snacks, granola bars, goldfish, vegan gummies, etc.
These snacks will help to improve cognitive function and enhance overall well-being. When students are not distracted by hunger, they can better engage in their lessons.
Additionally, offering healthy snacks promotes good eating habits that can last a lifetime. It also helps create an inclusive environment where all students have access to the nutrition they need, regardless of their circumstances at home.
