Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want our students to be able to focus 100% of their energy on learning and growing in our classroom. Many of our students enter our classroom in the morning with an empty stomach, the often face hectic home lives in which they have food insecurity. And, being the growing 4th graders they are, they are often hungry throughout the day and need a snack.

I do not want an empty stomach to be the cause for a student's lack of performance and believe in making sure the needs of the whole child are met!

Help me help my students stay focused on their learning by providing them with breakfast and snacks throughout the day. This will help them focus their energy on learning and growing instead of thinking about food. Thank you so much for supporting my students and for not allowing their socioeconomic background impact their quest for knowledge!
