My Project

Many students have not considered where their electricity comes from or how it is generated. In Environmentl Science, it is important for students to consider how we use energy and the environmentl impacts of the different energy sources.

Students will use the mini generator apparatus to explore how we generate electricity in power plants and renewable energy sources.

This hands-on experience will bring the text and models they are studying to life! This will allow students to consider ways we can generate electricity that are renewable for the future.

They will then use the Kilowatt meters to measure and calculate the energy consumption of our appliances. This activity helps students grasp how much energy they are using and ways they can conserve energy to conserve resources and protect our planet.
