How to Solve Fractions Using Models to Explain

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will be focused on how to understand mixed fractions and improper factions by drawing examples solving a mixed or improper faction and drawing what it looks like for clarity.

Students understand that fraction is a life lesson, regarding building a home, using to measure when cooking a dinner and so much more in life.

My students are a very hardworking group who understands that this is a way of life and this is very important to understand and know.

Each student will be given a problem to solve, along with a drawing of a fraction to complete, using construction paper and a pencil, with a color maker of their choice.
