Help me give my students access to a how to draw Library in our Elementary art classroom. Students from Kindergarten to 5th grade will all benefit from this resource being added our art room/ providing choice to students!

My Project

My students absolutely love to choice what they draw in art class and create their own unique drawings, but being at the elementary beginner level appropriate drawing resources would be a great benefit to my little cougar artists! Students often watch YouTube videos on how to draw or have question on how to draw specific animals, flowers, or objects. These library resources are a great age-appropriate way to have drawing step by step guides at my students' fingertips.

The donation of these How- To - Draw step by step drawing books a wonderful age-appropriate way for my little artists to personalize the content of their artwork, provide safe step by step drawing instructions (instead of YouTube), and providing students with a confidence boost in their drawing skills by being able to complete works individually.

YouTube is a great resource but can be start for younger students to access due to unknown commercials, and potentially unsafe internet connections. Not to mention the dreaded " computer battery running low or not being charged." Physical books for students to use are the answer to the dilemma in our Elementary art room.

Your donation will give many great ideas and the ability to explore creative problem solving at its finest for my little artists. Throughout the school year, my students complete various projects spanning themes of favorite animals, buildings / places around the world, flowers/ still life observations where these drawing resources could be of greatest assistance to help students individually create their artwork independently.
