Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Thank you for your help! I teach US (Regular, Honors and AP) History in Los Angeles. The first project we will use these maps and atlases for is a book of the history of US expansion. The students will create a series of labeled maps from the European "discovery" of the Americas through modern day, tracing the territorial expansion and population movements. The students do not have access to accurate modern maps. The incomplete set of atlases for our class (8 atlases for classes of 35+ students) are ancient, over 20 years old. I would like for the students to regularly have access to maps so that visual learners and others will be able to further understand the development of the country. Thank you!
