How Do You Self-Regulate?

Help me give my students a classroom weighted lap pad, as well as other sensory-based materials to be utilized for self regulation in the classroom.

My Project

I have a group of 15 amazing students this school year! There are some children in my class who could use some assistance in learning to to self-regulate themselves when they are upset or have extra energy to release.

I would love to add materials to our current "Chill Out Zone" that will aide my students in learning how to self-regulate themselves.

These materials will be used throughout our daily schedule. They will aide some children in focusing better during our lessons and activities that are more structured. In addition, these materials will give more quiet options for a few children who do not rest during our allotted nap time and need an outlet to release their energy.
