My Project

Talking about ones feelings is not always easy. Its even more difficult when you are a teenager because sometimes if difficult to find the words to express how you're feeling. Also, sometimes they're not able to positively and effectively express how they're feeling.

Through this project, there are graphics that scholars can use to pinpoint how they're feeling.

Just like when we go to the doctor and we're able to point to an image to show the level of our pain, pointing to a picture that shows our emotions is also effective. The girls will be able to point to the graphic and then express the 5W and H that about their emotions.

Finding ways to connect to another person is not always easy--being the new student is not always fun and coming back from summer vacation comes with its own trepidation if you have not seen your "friends" all summer. The beauty of the dice is that it provides students with talking points. This will provide my scholars a way to turn "play" into a talking point.

Finally, you can't go wrong with food. My school building houses four different school. This means that lunch is sometimes later in the day which cause some students to zone out because rightfully so, they're hungry. A little snacks as a pick me up until lunch time will definitely go a long way.
