My Project

This 3D printer will give Visual Art students an opportunity to see how their creativity can be combined with critical thinking and incorporated into practical projects. They will each design 3D printed Christmas ornaments, as well as items that can be used in the art room such as 3D printed custom clay stamps, texture plates, and poseable 3D figures used for reference models to draw/paint from. As they design items, they will see how to apply their own unique style and creative minds to design practical objects as well as purely aesthetic 3D pieces.

This 3D printing project also shows my art students that their creativity can be used after high school graduation as a career pathway.
