My students are an amazing group of high schoolers. Everyday they come to class with a willingness to learn chemistry, inquisitive and respectful to one another. I'm very proud of who they are as people and as students. I want to provide them the very best experience they can in high school chemistry.
My Project
I want to provide the highest quality of lab experience for my students.
Unfortunately our school is low on lab equipment, let alone anything that is modern.
This causes issues trying to keep the number of students near one down, along with getting good repeatable results from our labs.
The features of the hot plate allows students to pick the exact temperature and stirring speed. These are the little things in a piece of equipment students get excited for and often help with engagement. My classes will be very appreciative of a gift like this.
