Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing - kind, hard working and always eager to be a better student every day. As an ELA teacher, the most important thing I can do to achieve this is offer them new and exciting titles for our in-class library, but constantly stocking the most popular titles can be a challenge.
This project will allow me to restock some of the more popular titles students have been asking for.
I have a student who groaned in frustration when I mentioned I didn't have books 2-4 of the Inheritance Games series. I have students begging me for a greater variety of I Survived titles. I see all the new and diverse YA books that are out and I know I want to be able to offer them to my students. Students learn to love to read when they have exciting choices before them.
Your support of this project will help make this a reality.
