My Students

Our students are fun-loving four and five-year-olds doing an amazing job adjusting to this new normal of remote learning. You will never meet a bunch who love to learn more! On our remote learning platform, we work hard to suggest activities involving items they may have at home. However, this can become very challenging at times, since many of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and lack supplies.

Our students have demonstrated an amazing ability to be resilient during this COVID-19 pandemic.

It would bring them pure joy to be able to receive a gift bag with items they can use now, and during the summer, as they continue getting ready for kindergarten! Please help us post pictures handing these special gift bags of hope to our students, by funding this project. We thank you all in advance for your generosity and kindness.

My Project

Before this pandemic, we kept close data to ensure our students were not exposed to more than 30 minutes a week of screen time total! Now they are on the computer for hours in just one day. The materials we chose will provide them the items they do not have access to.

It will be a blessing to provide them with essential items that they do not have access to.

These materials will be used to create projects we will assign to enhance their learning and creativity. Items such as crayons, markers, drawing paper, and paint will allow them to work on enjoyable activities they will also learn from.

This will engage them in quality activities such as practicing writing their name, writing the alphabet, and engaging in guided instruction in math. A gift that will keep on giving in Kindergarten and beyond!
