My Students

My Kindergarteners are eager to learn. They are excited to come to school, some of them for the first time ever. They are chapter books waiting for this chapter of their school career to be written. I am excited to help be their co author.

I am helping to develop lifelong learners in my classroom.

Your support for my project will help them immensely and for that I am forever grateful.

My Project

All teachers want their classroom to be the best learning environment for their students. In a Kindergarten classroom, learning centers are a way to make this happen. Learning centers are designated areas where children enrich their learning.

I am requesting learning centers that can help them develop of love of reading.

During center time students use materials that help them create, explore, and to discover new ideas. Children choose which learning center they would like to participate in daily giving them a sense of ownership to that center and helping them develop their decision making skills.

Some of the best learning takes place when children are engaged and being active participates. Learning centers lets children have these hands-on opportunities that they need to grow as learners.
