Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

2022 has been a year like NO other! Everyone was super excited to get "back to school" after being home for a year and a half! However, these Kindergarten students needed extra time and care to learn how to be in a social/ learning setting.

We are so proud of how our students have overcome challenges that most of us never had to deal with in our own lives!

We want to celebrate their hard work and persistence by giving them a graduation gift personalized draw-string backpack with a safety-reflective strip filled with fun and educational tools. The one we are most excited for is called a "More than Peach" bundle in which each student will receive a variety of crayons in multiple skin colors, rainbow colors and a sketch book. It is so important that my diverse students have the ability to create something that looks like them and those around them. We are also thrilled to be supporting such an amazing business!
