My Project

My students love coming to school and it brings me joy to see their faces light up when they learn something new!

The items I have requested for my scholars will help create an amazing introduction to school for them!

My students really enjoy workstation time. The puzzles, blocks, sensory table, ABC car activity, dry erase markers, play-doh, and dramatic play items will be used there. The laminating film and printer also allows me to print fun colorful activities for them to use during workstation time. Art smocks, paint, and dot markers will enhance our arts and crafts time. The smocks will work way better than oversized t-shirts! Last year my students and I created songs and they had fun! I want to incorporate more music and introduce them to different instruments so I requested a chime and tongue drum…these items can also help as attention getters. Sand timers, pencil pouches, and line numbers will assist with classroom management. We didn’t have a lot of time to directly tap into the wonderful world of science last year so I’m looking forward to using the science kit to make real-world connections. We always celebrate birthdays with songs and with cupcakes but I want to create a box so the students can actually have a hat to wear and receive a gift, the birthday kit will be a part of that. The contact paper will be used to secure name tags and pictures in the classroom. My students learn best through play and benefit from structure and routines, these items will help with that.

My students eat lunch EARLY and it can get messy, so I requested wipes and snacks for those that are not able to bring snacks.
