My Project

I have kind, thoughtful students that are eager to learn. I have many students that love sports and wish to have more reading materials on this topic available in the classroom. This was voiced to me via some of my students recently at the start of this school year. The purpose of this grant is to provide these resources to my students and answer this request.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with a wide variety of sports books.

I want students to have access to books about various sports and unique stories. Some of the stories are graphic novels, while others are biographies. I know students will enjoy these books and learn a lot of new information at the same time.

My overall goal is that these books will grow the love of reading in the hearts of my students. I also included a fun basketball trash can and some mini basketballs for an exciting review game that can be used in various subject areas. I thought this would also be an engaging way to make school enjoyable for my students. I know students will love and enjoy these resources.
