Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative and hands-on. They love exploring. Most of my first graders are entering the reading phase where they have favorite books. In our classroom library we have a few Mo Willems books. They love the ones we have.

These Mo Willem books will have my students hooked on reading during independent reading time.

The illustrations and the words in the books will have my students feeling confident in their reading skills. I found that these books are not intimidating and most can follow along with the pictures. These books will be a huge hit in my classroom library.
