My Project

I am excited to introduce a project aimed at enriching our 1st-3rd graders' understanding of Black history and achievements. We are seeking support to create a dedicated biography section in our class library, filled with age-appropriate books that highlight the contributions of Black individuals who have shaped our world.

Our goal is to ignite curiosity and a love for learning by providing students with inspiring stories of Black role models from various fields.

This dedicated biography section will promote empathy, diversity, and a wider worldview, encouraging independent reading and critical thinking.

Our classroom is home to a diverse and enthusiastic group of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. This project celebrates their unique backgrounds by including biographies that reflect a broad spectrum of experiences and achievements. Your support will help our students see themselves in the stories they read and inspire them to aim high.

With your help, we can create a vibrant library space that fosters a lifelong love of reading and learning. Your generosity will provide our students with valuable resources that broaden their perspectives and inspire them daily.
