Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from low income households. Providing them with these student planners/agendas will enable my class of 47 students to stay organized and learn good organizational skills that will be vital as they get older. Almost all my kids are on free or reduced lunch. Many of them lack the resources and supplies to be able to succeed. I have had to come out of pocket at times in order to ensure that my kids are not at a disadvantage because of circumstances! These planners will allow them to be organized and focused as they learn Math, Science, and Social Studies with me! I am also requesting a stool so that I may sit on occasion while I am lecturing my students during class.
