Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students and I are requesting chairs for small group instruction to make our inclusive classroom more comfortable during small group instruction. Our classroom is our sanctuary, where we spend most of our time. While we adore our room and everything it holds, having comfortable seating would greatly enhance our learning environment. I strongly believe that optimal learning occurs when students feel at ease in their surroundings, and new chairs would certainly contribute to this.

Additionally, we've identified a need for an Epson EcoTank printer, as our previous classroom printer recently malfunctioned.

Printing materials in the classroom is vital, providing students with immediate access to worksheets and other resources. Having a printer on-site will reduce time spent on planning and enable me to craft more effective instructional lessons.
