My Project

My heart swells with joy when I hear a student on a Friday or before a long break say, "Noooo-! I don't want to leave school. This is my home. I love school!" I want more of my students to feel this way. Students spend 6 hours a day for 180 days in the classroom. I want to create a space where they feel relaxed and "at home" each and every day. Having the burlap bulletin board backing can help make the classroom feel a little less sterile and add warmth to the environment. The neutral tone of the burlap will also help make the students' work stand out. The artificial plants will bring a little nature into the classroom without having to take care of the plants over long breaks in the school year.

The Cricut machine can help personalize the classroom for students.

Instead of buying pre-made posters, I can create original designs that suit my students' interests and personalities. The Cricut machine can be used to add inspirational quotes to my classroom walls, personalize items with students' names, and create amazing unique gifts for families around the holidays.

I am requesting these items now so that I can start the next academic year with a fresh new look to my classroom. Students spend at least 1,080 hours a year in the classroom, please help me make it a place they love coming to!
