it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher in a low- come/ high poverty school. My students face several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My students have all been identified with special needs such as autism, intellectual disabilities, developmentally delayed, language impairment, and deaf and hard of hearing. This upcoming school year will look very different. Our district is starting the school year via distance learning. I have created a project that will help my special education preschool students. I am looking for the best tools to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences both in the classroom and at home.
My Project
Due to the pandemic, we will be starting the school year via distance learning. This will be a hard adjustment for my students and their families. To make it easier for them, I will be making “Home Supply Learning Kits” that will be sent out to each one of my students. The "kits" will include a variety of supplies. They will be able to work on their cognitive, math, social, language, and physical development with what the home supply kits will include. Theses tools will provide them with a meaningful learning experience at home.
