Our students are amazing; we are one big community of learners. Our students take a genuine interest in each other, work hard to achieve their goals, and constantly seek out new ways to learn. We love to wiggle, giggle, and grow!
Our school is a three-time National School of Character, and my seven and eight year olds shine every day.
Our students are both strong leaders and team players. They are hands-on learners who learn best through interaction and experience. Every day is a great day with the students - it's truly an honor to teach these children.
My Project
My students have been absolutely incredibly during this crazy school year! They have asked for a class pet, and I have caved!!
My students have shown they can care for and be responsible for a class pet, so I am excited to get them one!
We have completed a lot of research and are learning how to best take care of our guinea pig. The students have learned how to write informational pieces. The class each researched the needs of a guinea pig and created power points.
I will be purchasing her in the next week or so. I will also purchase the initial supplies that she will need. Additionally, I know we will be in constant need of supplies for her. I would appreciate anything you are willing to do to make our guinea pig feel at home!
The kids are so excited and I cannot wait to see how they interact with her! She is one lucky pig!!
