My Students

My Kindergarten students reside in Canarsie, Brooklyn. We are a Title I public school. Our enrollment goes down every year because of the rise of charter schools in the neighborhood. When enrollment decreases funding decreases. My kids are making the best the materials they have. They entered kindergarten with a big smiles and big dreams. We need your help! We have a new math curriculum with a lot of new center materials however, we need the organization tools to make our math center accessible for all students. Your contribution will also help us stock our classroom with multi- sensory materials to make learning and growing fun and accessible for everyone!

My Project

With this project "Ms. Donnery I'm finished" will be a thing of the past. If our project is fully funded my students will be able to access anything they need in the classroom. They will have access to colored differentiated activities that they can begin on their own. They will also have comfortable spaces to work on those activities to keep them engaged.

The colored storage options will help students identify what they need to work on next in math and writing.

The bean bags will both serve as a cool down station and a flexible seating option.

The crayons will help use create artistic illustrations for our books and the pocket charts will help keep our routines visible and accessible to all students.
