Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students 3 books from their Holiday Book Wishlist. It's rare to hear of children asking for books for Christmas. My students are doing just that. They love reading and talking about what they're reading, getting new book recommendations, and escaping into the worlds of their books.

This book club has become a little family.

We talk about what books we have read, want to read and so much more. It's become a great way for students to find friends who also like to read-- which is a rarity.

Reading for fun increases vocabulary and will also help boost reading scores, so this is also a huge win all around academically.
