Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a K-8 community school located in Mott Haven / Port Morris which is a diverse community with students from all over the world, along with families with wildly different socio-economic backgrounds. I currently have students in both elementary and middle school including horizon and special education students. Unfortunately, many of students are asylum seekers who do not have the simple resources that others have such as purchase Christmas gifts. Our school community will be hosting a Toy Drive for our students Your donation would be essential in giving these students a chance to join in on the festive fall season and assisting a well-deserved community.
